Prof. Dr. Atul Goel is chairman of the Neurosurgical Department at King Edward Memorial Hospital Mumbai, India since 2004. He is honorary member of the Indian and various international Neurosurgical Societies and one of the most recognized experts in the field of cranial base surgery. By holding the largest operative series of cavernous hemangiomas of the cavernous sinus, suprasellar meningeomas and craniovertebral anomalies and more than 300 personal articles his critical view  on  paradigms of tumor resections inspired many colleagues.  We are thankful for his extended talk on the principles of extra, internal and intra dural surgeries.
