The goal of the NeuroOncology Tumor Board is to treat patients with brain and spinal cord tumors in a standardized manner, according to current clinical and scientific criteria. This also applies to tumors that manifest secondarily in the brain and spinal cord and spine.

Since similar tumors are not infrequently treated very differently, the treatment decision is determined by a panel of experts. Experts from the following disciplines are regularly represented in the weekly interdisciplinary tumor conference: Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology, Oncology, and Radiation Therapy. If necessary, other cooperation partners are consulted.
